Psalm 112:1, 7. Blessed is he who fears God.. “Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments. He will not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart (soul) is steadfast, trusting (having faith) in the Lord.” To fear the Lord means to have a deep sense of reverence, love, awe, and respect for God (The Father, The Son, The Spirit), acknowledging The Trinity’s holiness, power, and authority over all creation. It is not a fear of punishment, but a recognition of Their greatness and a desire to honor, obey, and live in alignment with Their will. To fear the Lord means to live in the present, in constant awareness of His presence, allowing His Spirit to guide your decisions, convict you of sin, and fill you with a passion for righteousness. It is a posture of humility that places Father God at the center of your life. The Holy Spirit empowers us to walk in the fear of the Lord, not through terror, but through agape love. Jesus exemplified this perfectly, as He lived in submission to the Father. You must delight in consuming The Word under the guidance and teaching of Holy Spirit. Having faith in The Word that tells us we do not have a spirit of fear, but The Spirit of dynamic power, agape love and a sound steadfast soul in servitude to our spirit. We trust Holy Spirit for our God is our place of safety and protection. We walk in dominion over our spheres of influence and according to Luke 10:19 we are in dominion over satan and his minions and nothing they can do can in any way harm us. We are more than conquerors through our Father who loves us. Selah!
